Not painting, Sick again, and now addicted to HDTV

I figure I’ll start painting this week (if I don’t get sick a fifth time). The only thing I didn’t get was Norwalk.

Over the holidays we got a new lcd tv to replace the old 27” Sony that I got back in college in 1989. Wow, it seems like yesterday I had the Sony delivered to the apartment in the west end of Toronto. Back then I was dazzled by the quality of the VHS movies we’d rent.

Standard TV looks crappy at 37”… so I ordered the high definition channels three weeks ago and I’m hooked. House, 24 and even American Idol, it’s like looking through a window. The last time I was this thrilled with technology was when CDs came out. No more cracking or popping!

Buy yourself an up-converting DVD player It’s worth it when you have hdtv.
