Playing the Piano - 9 - Neil Diamond's - Red Red Wine

I’ve started playing Red Red Wine after I picked up a Neil Diamond’s sheet music pocket book. The song is in the key of C so it becomes the second song in my repertory. The song has helped my arpeggio playing because it transitions from chord to notation. I like Neil Diamond because when I was at college in Toronto CHUM AM was one of the few stations to play oldies from the ‘50s to through the ‘70s and the music was a friendly sound coming from my clock radio when working on my school projects. My favorite Neil Diamond song is Long Fellow Serenade and I’ll have to learn that one after I’ve gained more skill. (old picture of Diamond at the paino writing music)
