Learning the Piano – Part 13 – New Chords and Song

I am learning some new chords for “Longfellow Serenade” and I am starting on the melody for “You Don’t bring me Flowers”. Why the sappy ballad? Well I started playing it and wow… it is excellent to play! It’s funny how some songs that don’t appeal to you when you are listening to them, are a joy to play. I think that this is one of the driving forces guiding me to play music.. the sheer boredom of listening to the over-produced crap that’s out there.
